Jared Weisenberger plays a key role on the Sem Boy’s Soccer team. He is known for being incredibly hardworking and willing to do what’s best for the success of the team. He lead the team in assists last year and has made many contributions to assists this year. Some star moments include when he scored a goal and had an assist in games versus Wyoming Area and Lake Lehman which both resulted in a 2-0 win. His teammates also commented on how although he is a very humble person, he leads and inspires all players on the team.

 

Position: Outside Midfielder

Family Members: Mom, Dad, and his dog, Yankee

Favorite Soccer Team: Philadelphia Union

Favorite Soccer Player: Cristiano Ronaldo

Favorite Subject: US History

Favorite Food: Pizza

Role Model: His dad because he works hard, but still comes home with a smile on his face

Favorite Moment of Season: Having a goal and assist in the 2-0 win against Lake Lehman

Fun Fact: He was coached by the current Washington Capitals head coach.

1) If your life was a movie what it called and why? What the genre be?

If my life was a movie it would be called something snazzy… I’m not sure. Wait, actually, Something Snazzy sounds kinda fun. It would be non fiction.

2) What do you think dogs dream about?

I think my dog, Milo, dreams about food and playing.

3) If you could make one rule at Sem that everyone has to follow(teachers and students), what would it be and why?

If I could make one rule that people follow, it would be to be nicer to one another.

4) What is one thing you want everyone to know about you?

I have found over 20 four leaf clovers in the last year.

The girls tennis team is off to a blistering start, going undefeated so far this season. They’re led in this endeavor by senior Parker Callahan, who has not only helped keep the team’s record perfect, but also make sure to hold herself to those standards. The perfect road has not been easy, as she showcased great mental fortitude to battle back for a 5 game comeback with teammate Paige Parsons (‘20). Parker looks to continue her excellence through the rest of the season and into playoffs.
