During\u00a0the\u00a0weekend\u00a0of\u00a0April\u00a023rd,\u00a02022,\u00a0Wyoming\u00a0Seminary\u00a0came\u00a0together\u00a0as\u00a0a\u00a0community\u00a0to\u00a0welcome\u00a0newly\u00a0accepted\u00a0students.\u00a0The\u00a0Upper\u00a0and\u00a0Lower\u00a0School\u00a0campuses\u00a0hosted\u00a0events\u00a0throughout\u00a0the\u00a0day\u00a0by\u00a0giving\u00a0tours,\u00a0answering\u00a0questions,\u00a0and\u00a0showing\u00a0the\u00a0clubs\u00a0we\u00a0have\u00a0to\u00a0offer.\u00a0A\u00a0total\u00a0of\u00a072\u00a0families\u00a0attended\u00a0the\u00a0event\u00a0to\u00a0see\u00a0what\u00a0it\u00a0would\u00a0be\u00a0like\u00a0as\u00a0a\u00a0student\u00a0at\u00a0Sem.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0families\u00a0included\u00a08thgrade\u00a0families,\u00a0admitted\u00a0families\u00a0for\u00a0next\u00a0year,\u00a0accepted\u00a0families,\u00a0and\u00a0prospective\u00a0families\u00a0looking\u00a0to\u00a0attend\u00a0the\u00a0Open\u00a0House\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0fall.\u00a0A\u00a0total\u00a0of\u00a030\u00a0clubs\u00a0represented\u00a0the\u00a0school\u00a0by\u00a0showing\u00a0off\u00a0the\u00a0sports,\u00a0extra-curriculars,\u00a0and\u00a0academic\u00a0offerings\u00a0at\u00a0Sem.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah\u00a0Stewart,\u00a0the\u00a0Interim\u00a0Director\u00a0of\u00a0Domestic\u00a0Admission\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0Upper\u00a0School,\u00a0organized\u00a0the\u00a0day.\u00a0She\u00a0said,\u00a0\u201cAfter\u00a0seeing\u00a0our\u00a0current\u00a0students\u00a0and\u00a0faculty\u00a0interacting\u00a0with\u00a0our\u00a0new\u00a0and\u00a0prospective\u00a0families,\u00a0you\u00a0realize\u00a0all\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0difficult\u00a0decisions\u00a0and\u00a0long\u00a0hours\u00a0of\u00a0planning\u00a0are\u00a0all\u00a0worth\u00a0it.\u00a0We\u00a0cannot\u00a0wait\u00a0to\u00a0have\u00a0everyone\u00a0back\u00a0together\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Fall\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a02022-2023\u00a0school\u00a0year.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At\u00a0the\u00a0Upper\u00a0School,\u00a0the\u00a0street\u00a0of\u00a0North\u00a0Sprague\u00a0was\u00a0filled\u00a0with\u00a0tables\u00a0for\u00a0clubs\u00a0and\u00a0student\u00a0 organizations.\u00a0Another\u00a0benefit\u00a0of\u00a0having students\u00a0participate\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0event\u00a0is\u00a0that\u00a0it\u00a0provides\u00a0a\u00a0sincere\u00a0\u00a0welcome\u00a0into\u00a0the\u00a0Sem\u00a0community.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lauren Finlay \u201823 shared, ” Accepted Students Day was a great experience for everyone involved. [It] went amazing this year, and the Sem community got to see so many new faces! It was really nice to meet potential incoming students, and I think all the students really felt like it brought our community together!\u201d <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
